Constance has been honored with the Diabetes Care and Education Practice Group (DCE) 2007 Diabetes Educator of the Year Award.

The award "recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the practice of diabetes education and medical nutrition therapy as well as demonstrating the integration of food and the culinary experience into educational
teaching methods."
